Mike McDowell R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldysh The Submersibles Mir I and Mir II
Mike McDowell, founder and manager of Deep Ocean Expeditions, was the man behind the first ever manned dives to the wreck of the Bismarck in 2001. In 2002 he made a second expedition to the wreck of the Bismarck. This expedition used manned submersibles.
