The text in the book is quite comprehensive, but sadly entirely written in Polish. Still there are English captions to the photos and maps though. The book also deal with the never completed ships, Seydlitz and Lützow.
The book is richly illustrated with many photos and maps. The quality of the photos I will consider to be average/good. They are generally one level lower in quality than those seen in the Bismarck/Tirpitz books from same publisher. But working with these warships you must be prepared that the photo quality often vary a lot and it is not a critisism of the publisher. On the inside of the cover you will find 3D artwork made by Slawomir Janik showing the super structure of Prinz Eugen.
I especially enjoy the brilliant artwork by Stefan Draminski and Slawomir Janik. Those guys are extremely talented.
I very much like this book. There doesn't exist many books about these ships and this book series is very much welcomed by me as it fill out a big gap in the naval litterature.
I highly recommend this book for ship modellers and others interested in the heavy cruisers of the Admiral Hipper Class. It is an excellent and very useful book.
