Anyway, having 9 books already before I obtained the new book about Bismarck, I knew pretty well what to expect from Classic Warships. Being familiar with the high quality of the books from Classic Warships, together with the fact that I already have a lot of material in my private archive about Bismarck, meant that I was aware of the risk I would be disappointed with this new book. I mean, what news could possibly be in this book?

I was not disappointed!

The layout of the book is excellent, as usual. The book is a virtual tour of the battleship. You'll find no less than 130 black and white photographs. Some of these are unknown photos which have never been published before.

The sharp and clear photos, typical for books from Classic Warships, shows many details of the Bismarck. Invaluable to the ship modeller and enthusiasts.

The book is composed of 72 pages. On 8 of these pages you will find the excellent 3D Computer Graphics by Thomas Schmid.

The history of the ship is brief, but precise in the book. The history together with extensive photograph captions and general statistics provides a wealth of information about the Bismarck.

This book is a must for anybody interested in the Bismarck.
